Privacy Policy
Precizo. Consumer privacy.
Last updated: July 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what Precizo collects, how we use it, your choices, and your rights when you use our website, questionnaire, product matching experience, profile features, feedback tools, communications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). Precizo is operated by Elite Apex Ventures LLC.
By using the Service you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Who We Are and Who Controls Your Data
Precizo provides a cannabis product matching and profile experience for adults. We do not sell cannabis and do not provide medical advice or healthcare services.
When you use the Service and provide information directly to us, Precizo controls that information under this Policy. Precizo is independent of any dispensary. Information you give a dispensary at the store is governed by the dispensary’s own policies, not this one.
2. Age Restriction
The Service is only for people 21 and older, or the applicable legal age in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age. If we learn we have collected information from someone who does not meet the age requirement, we may delete it.
3. Information We Collect
Information you provide:
- Questionnaire answers: desired effects, things you want to avoid, tolerance, sensitivity, format preferences, and prior experiences.
- The recommendations generated for you, and products you save, report trying, or rate.
- Optional product feedback, if you choose to give it.
- Your email address, only if you choose to save a profile.
- Demo or business-inquiry information, if you contact us as a dispensary, brand, or partner.
Device, usage, and technical information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, time and date of visits, interactions with the Service, error logs, and approximate location inferred from device or network information.
We do not collect your government ID or full date of birth beyond confirming you are 21 or older. Identity verification at purchase is handled by the dispensary, not us.
4. Health-Adjacent Information
Some answers (for example, seeking calm, sleep, or relief from discomfort) are health-adjacent. We treat this information with added care. Precizo is not a healthcare provider and this data is not medical record information under HIPAA, but we still protect it, never sell it in identifiable form, and use it only to provide and improve the Service as described here.
5. How We Use Information
To generate your recommendations and fit scores; to create and maintain your Precizo Profile and save your matches and feedback; to send sign-in codes and service messages; to operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service; to generate aggregated and de-identified analytics; to prevent misuse; and to comply with law. We do not use your information for purposes you would not reasonably expect from a product-matching tool.
6. Feedback and Profile History
When you rate a product or submit feedback, Precizo may use that information to build your profile history and reflect what worked, what partly worked, what missed, and what you may want to avoid in the future. Precizo may also use feedback in aggregated or de-identified form to improve product matching, dispensary reporting, and future personalization features.
7. Consent and Choices
You can use the questionnaire and see results without giving any personal information. If you choose to save a profile, we ask for your clear, affirmative, opt-in consent at that step, specific to Precizo collecting and storing your responses and email to build and save your profile. We use separate opt-ins for saving a profile, for any email messages, and for sharing identifiable information with a dispensary or loyalty account. You can withdraw consent at any time.
8. Anonymous Use
Saving a profile is always optional. You can complete the questionnaire, see your matches, and shop without creating an account or giving us any personal information. This supports your right to purchase cannabis anonymously.
9. How We Share Information
- Service providers (hosting, database, analytics, authentication, AI processing, email) under confidentiality obligations and only as needed to run the Service.
- A dispensary: if you reach Precizo through a dispensary-specific QR code, link, demo, or menu, we may share aggregated, de-identified, or operational information such as usage counts, match trends, and product feedback summaries. We do not share your directly identifiable individual profile with a dispensary unless you choose to show it, authorize it, or the sharing is necessary to provide the Service.
- Brands and business partners: aggregated or de-identified product outcome insights only.
- Legal and safety purposes when required by law.
- Business transfers: if Precizo is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
10. No Sale of Identifiable Data
We do not sell your identifiable questionnaire answers, health-adjacent data, or email. Any analytics we provide to partners use only aggregated and de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you. If we ever engage in activity considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under applicable privacy law, we will provide the required opt-out rights and notices first.
11. Cross-Dispensary and Aggregated Data
If you save a profile, it can help your matches at any Precizo-enabled location. We may create aggregated, de-identified insights from overall usage. These never identify you.
12. AI Processing
To generate written summaries, some questionnaire and product data may be processed by an automated AI provider. We minimize what is sent and use settings that do not train on your data where available. Automated summaries may contain errors; treat them as informational only and verify product details with the dispensary before purchase.
13. Cookies and Analytics
We use basic, first-party analytics to operate and improve the Service and to understand things like questionnaire completion and result views. We do not use third-party advertising or retargeting pixels on results or feedback pages, and we do not use health-preference data for targeted advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the Service may not work properly if cookies are disabled.
14. Data Retention and the Illinois Rule
We keep anonymous session data only briefly. We keep saved-profile and feedback data only while your account is active or as needed for the purposes described, and you can ask us to delete it. We do not write your personal information into a dispensary’s point-of-sale or internal systems. If any personal information ever enters a dispensary’s internal system in connection with a purchase, it is deleted within 24 hours of that purchase, consistent with Illinois requirements (68 Ill. Adm. Code 1291.308).
15. Your Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your saved profile; request a copy of your information; object to or restrict certain processing; opt out of certain marketing; and opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information, where applicable. You can withdraw consent and stop using the Service at any time. To make a request, contact us using the information below.
16. State Privacy Notice
Where state law provides additional rights (for example, California), those may include the right to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, and to opt out of certain sales or sharing. Categories of information we may collect include identifiers (such as email), internet or network activity, approximate geolocation, commercial information (such as saved products and product interaction history), inferences (preference profiles generated from your answers and feedback), and, where applicable, sensitive information that may reveal cannabis-related preferences. We use these categories for the purposes described in this Policy and do not sell them for money.
17. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
18. Email Communications
We may send service-related emails, such as sign-in codes, profile access messages, saved-result messages, feedback prompts, support responses, and important updates. If we send marketing emails, you may unsubscribe using the instructions in the email. Service-related emails may still be sent where necessary to operate your account or provide the Service.
19. Third-Party Links
The Service may link to third-party websites, dispensaries, brands, forms, payment providers, or other services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third parties. Review their privacy policies before providing information to them.
20. Changes and Contact
We may update this Policy from time to time and will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you acknowledge the updated Policy.
